I am an avid hunter. My ability to be successful at this endeavor has recently been diminished due to symptoms of Parkinson's disease. I recently purchased a Bog Gear Tactical Shooting Tripod on the advice of an expert hunter, so that I could have a reasonable opportunity to fill my Utah premium limited entry elk permit. While practicing shooting with my Ruger .300 Win Mag, it became apparent that I wouldn't be able to hold steady enough for shots much beyond 100 yards, the like of which is extremely rare in hunting trophy class elk. With my Bog Gear tripod, I was able to put a perfect shot a a monster 6X6 elk laser ranged at 337 yards. The elk went down with one shot like a ton of and, quite likely never heard the shot that got him. Without my Bog Gear tripod, that shot may well have been impossible for me. I heartily recommend this product to anyone serious about shooting.

This is a great product for the price, while not cheap it is stable for its light weight and ease of ajustment. i have also purchased the standard one for range work saving this one to carry into the field. The only negative I have is the top pivot point is a plastic which appears well built would have liked to see it in an alloy material or atleast a alloy replacement availible as an option.

I have had several tripods for shooting before researching and buying the Bog Pod. It is by far the best one I have had. You might say, I am happy with it.

Solid shooting rest would get 5 stars but the price is on the high side. Very smoth to operate with the optional rest it is close to shooting rest solid. Is worth the price but should be cheaper. Would recomend to a friend.

This is a great product. It is much better than bidpods I have used, as it stabilizes the rifle leading to more accurate shooting.I use it exclusively for target shooting now. Adjustable legs let you use it for all positions/heights. Is very light and comes with carry/storage bag. Great product. Would strongly recommend it.

I bought this product because it said it was a shooting/camera tri-pod. So I thought it would come with BOTH shooting & camera attachments. Nowhere in the product description did it say it did not include the camera attachment. For the price it SHOULD come with both. Found out the camera attachment is another $25-$30. Not happy about that. Also out of the package all of the legs were loose and I had to tighten them. Also the legs ONLY have measurement markings on the top section & NOT on the bottom section(VERY STUPID)so it is HARD to get the right length on all 3 legs. If I did not need it NOW I would have sent it back.
