Ratcheting box end needs as little as 5 degrees to move a fastener vs 30 degrees for standard box end wrenches. Improved box end strength. Surface drive design reduces fastener rounding. Excellent tool, and the only tool I found that could install a 3/4" (19mm) locknut in a Tacoma chasis from a hole the size of my finger. It has been used many times since and works great! I also recommend the SAE Flex X-beam set. It is very simple to use, seems very strong and the X-beam design allows much torque without gloves; there is more than the width of a regular wrench to hold onto. Kobalt makes a flex set also but it doesn't compare to the make of GearWrench Flex X-Beam; GearWrench you must flip over to change the ratchet direction, Kobalt has a lever, but a larger flex head. It is easy for me to determine the direction first. Only a very small movement is needed to ratchet. I am just a DIY'er and don't work for anyone related to this product. I really like this set and style. I have the 9 piece set and wish I had the 12 piece set.

The flex head is what I bought these wrenches for but the open end has small notches for moving the pressure off of the corners of the nut or bolt to reduce rounding. The twist is handy but adds a lot of metal and makes them more heavy. The teeth in the ratchets are large so small spaces are hard to deal with but for how long the wrenches are the teeth need to be strong/large. The flex head is stiff wich is good, the head won't flop around while you are trying to get it on a bolt.

This tool set is of a high quality and built to last. I really appreciate the gear teeth ratio for dealing with tight spaces. Makes a big difference. The flex head is also a nice feature. And best of all, these have a lifetime warranty.
