These looked to be quality wrenches but they are very large/thick. I could not get the ratcheting end on anything I would regularly use them for (I work on motorcycles mostly). The open end was fine. I ended up returning them.

I have been working on cars/trucks for a long time. I've tried just about every tool ever made from every manufacturer there is or was. These GearWrench Metric Ratcheting wrenches are the best I have ever used. I actually have 8 or more sets (lost count) in SAE and Metric. I have all varieties and they are all the best. They are rugged, well made and work great. They have only a 5 degree movement for the ratcheting action and fit every nut/bolt very well. The ratcheting action is very fast, faster than a conventional ratchet. The open end fits nuts/bolts very well, much better than most open end wrenches which seem to be on the loose side but not the GearWrench wrenches. I have never had any problems, no flaking of the chrome, no broken ratchets, no problems at all. If you shop around, you can sometimes find these on sale and then they are a real bargain! Do yourself a favor and buy the best wrenches you can, you'll save so much time and aggravation in the long run.

These are quality wrenches and the ratchet operation is really a time-saver.

Note that the plastic tray is really just that-- a tray. It appears to be the bottom of what would otherwise be a case, of sorts. But there is no top. Even so, if you want to store the wrenches there, they are reasonably stable (do not fall out if inverted).

I had been looking for metric set of gear wrenches, and could'nt find a set that was affordable, comfortable, and had a good selection of sizes.
This one has all the right answers.
I havent had a chance to test them all in severe use yet but the ones I have worked well.
