I really liked this book because it's great for starters or higher. I also liked this book because it has 20 or more patterns in it and a varity of patterns. I would recommened this book book to everyone.

This is a great book. We've used it at our summer park program with kids ages 5-15 and they love it. The directions are very easy to follow compared to other beaded animal books and online sources. There's also a really good variety of projects. It will keep the kids busy for hours!

Making these beaded animals is just as much fun as were the ones in the original "Gecko". Like in the original, you get step by step instructions with photos and diagrams that are so very easy to follow. I just loved both Gecko books and, like me, in no time at all you'll be making lots of little beaded animals. Animals for you and animals for others, because don't you know, they make swell gifts, especially if you turn them into earrings or pins.

Actually you know, I might even have liked "Gecko 2" a little better than I liked the first "Gecko".
