I absolutely loved this book. The character of Miranda Bloom is extremely easy to relate to. As a girl like Miranda, I enjoyed reading her story and seeing how her life unfolded. Piper Banks left me wanting more.

I liked this book overall. Miranda Bloom is a typical teenager, not part of the in crowd even in her special smart kids' school. I like how some of the characters start out with a two dimensionality and grow a bit beyond expectations. I like that Miranda is naturally good at math but actually doesn't have a passion for it, it adds an interesting layer to the character. It proves that she doesn't define herself by her gift really.

Its a fun, fluffy book about a girl learning how to fit in a bit better than she has been, harmless. I'd say PG rating, if even that. Miranda isn't a girl to take risks, and the author doesn't really either, and thats fine.
