The Gefen Wireless HDMI Extender is the perfect solution for sending up to three High Definition AV sources to any one location without the hassle of wires. The Gefen Wireless HDMI Extender is able to accomplish this by employing Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology to send the large amounts of data required by the HDMI standard. Up to a 30 foot line-of-sight distance (less if going through a wall to an adjacent room) is achievable with supported resolutions of up to 1080p.

Let me start on the negative side the transmitter gets a little hot, it only do 1080i on 60 frames and 1080p on 24. works like a charm connected to a ps3 and a projector in the back = hours of fun for kids and no need for long complicated hdmi wires hidden which will cost alot or the long wire it replaced in the mmiddle of the living room.I expect next generation to improve or the one from rocketfish to be better

I live on the middle floor of a condo building. I needed a way to get Direct TV cable from the outside to my large sceen TV on the opposite wall. This unit works flawlessly! I get the Direct TV signals on my 55 inch TV without having to run cables across the floor.
