Format: Audio CD
This is a very solid album with a smooth flow and continuity from track to track. This is a hybrid of IDM, piano, and often feels like a tribute to great distopian films. You can't help but to feel like you're in the world of blade runner, city of lost children, or brazil as you hear the lush and beautiful piano works complimented with the sounds of cool rain, retro loops of mechanical clicks, burps and vinyl scratches.

Its a very relaxing album in some places and quite provocative in others as it journeys from relaxing to tense moments. Overall I really enjoyed listening to this but the only thing I would like to hear is a bit more emotional depth. Its definitely on the right track and a great pick up that will not age at all. Quite Enjoyable!

The opening of Swod's GEHEN gives you an immediate insight to their work: a crackling electronic atmosphere upon which delicate instrumentation appears. "Fugitif 1" adds in a post-rock elemental build, and "Nein" brings in even more guitar work as well as a mysterious vocal sample. "Attends" has an elegant drift to it, while "Tucholskystr.34" introduce some elements of quiet menace with a searching radio sample and recurring hints of feedback. The looping piano riff on "I Think He Was A Journalist" drives forth the track, while "Hochbahn" is content to drift. Nice, simple, enjoyable.
