This review is from: Gehlen: Germany's Master Spy (Mass Market Paperback)
I read this book here in Brazil.Even being an (unemployed) agronomist, I love to read, this kind of book. This book is about, the life of the biggest German's spies in XX Century. In fact, even having many biographic details about Reinhard Gehlen, this book isn't really a biography. This book has many histories about spies and his sucess and failures.
Reinhard Gehlen using his skills and his spies, to help Hitler, USA, then Western Germany is the real subject of this book. This book has almost any chapter, so amazing that any chapter can became a movie, in itself. And this happens in a book with less than 200 pages, at least in brazilian translation. ---------------------------------------------- The table of contest is something like this: *Preface. *Book 1> Covers from chapter 1 to chapter 7.A short Gehlen's biography and many actions used in World War II. *Book 2> Covers from chapter 8 to 20.Gehlen in German's defeat and serving USA.Includes a chapter about discovery of soviet atomic spies. *Book 3>Covers from chapter 21 to 28.Gehlen in former Western Germany. *End. |
