Good kit, but be careful,

This is a great kit to include with any flute, but be sure you, or your child, knows how to properly use it. The oil and brush should be removed all together. Except for those who are knowledgeable about how to repair flutes these items should not be used. Oil should only be applied by a technician, doing so yourself could ruin your flute, or at the very least make a big mess! I have been playing the flute for over 20 years and my daughter, who just started, found some of the cleaning items that I found unnecessary easier to use than the ones I preferred.

The instructions were very poor. For example, there are no instructions on how to use the polishing mitt. I cannot understand the small picture for the headjoint swab.The most useful instruction was this note "consult your band director, teacher ... regarding .. the use of this care kit"! The materials seems to be of good quality. |
