5.0 out of 5 stars CDJ 600, November 21, 2010

For those of you who have to buy a budget dj cd player, this is my favorite choice. Having used the Stanton C324s before these I can tell you that the Gemini CDJ600 is better by far. USB function does support external hardrives. At least solid state, which is what I use. I use a couple of 4 and 8 gig thumb drives and I have a 350 gig solid state external drive. Unlike the C324, the CDJ600 plays any cd I put in it. The jog wheel is nothing to write home about, but come on, its a $220 cd player. The wheel would not hold up to much scratching but for me it does the job. I beat mix progressive house, trance and drum&bass so I dont scratch. The bpm is a tap on.You tap in the beat yourself. This takes a bit to get used to but its alright. These will do just fine until I manage to pull together the dough for CDJ900s(as much as my truck cost).

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality, September 2, 2011

If you're used to working computers and equipment then this is the CD turntable for you. It's very easy to learn how to use if you already know the terminology. One of my other teachers had a difficult time understanding the concept. If you don't readily understand how to operate such equipment you'll spend some time reading the manual and practicing, but it is great! I teach dance classes as well as the performances and the pitch control on this machine is awesome! A great plus is being able to use a jump drive with all your music in addition to the CD. I did find it cheaper at a different website; however they were unable to fill the order? (Loss leader??) So Amazon.com was the best, as usual, of prices.
