I am a gemstone therapist. I've found the information in this book to really work for me. It clearly states how gemstones work, easy ways to use them, and other useful information.

Find that you're incredibly attracted to amethysts and don't know why? Do you put your hands over crystals because it "kinda feels nice"? Do rubies in a store window cause you to stare until your mate has to haul you away?? The Gemisphere Luminary is a must-have for you, and may give you some surprising answers about your attractions. Whether or not your world view is in line with the more esoteric information in the book (i.e.: Gemstone Guardians), the basic gemstone information is detailed, precise and extremely useful. I have worked with crystals and gemstones for many years, and I found this book to be completely in line with my experience. Mr. Katz stresses the quality of stones, which I've also found to be extremely important, and something I think many people don't appreciate. (Chances are good that if you drop by your local rock shop, what you will find there will not be of sufficient quality to have anything like the effects various books describe, generally leading people to think that it's all bunk. That's unfortunate, as good quality stones can be wonderful tools.) If you work with crystals and stones, or just have an attraction to them, this book is an excellent resource and will give you much food for thought.

The Guardians of each gemstone were fascinating beings, each with a mission and purpose for their particular gemstone. Each guardian shares their history of the gemstone and educates us. This book gives us valuable information to use for gemstone healings. If you have ever felt an affinity for a particular gemstone and wondered what it's mission is on the planet, you should get this book and read it. It's a lovely, sweet book, full of incredible information.
