I have this product and it works great it has a normal 7 amp fuse do yourself a favor put a 15 amp fuse in right now from Wal-Mart ( if you plan on using this on your whole house ) . I'm now moving on up in my light display from the gemmy light show and timer to a L-O-R (Light-o-Rama). Not that the gemmy lightshow is bad but it's for beginners. Now if you are planning to move to the L-O-R the good one for starting is the 16 channel 30 amp controllers if you are going to use light-o-rama go to [...] purchase and to save some money go to diy if you really nifty you can acutely build the circuit board. So the gemmy lightshow is good but if you want to go a step further get a light o rama

Bought this in 2008, after X-mas on discount. Got it from Wal-mart, original price was $68, according to box. Didn't put lights out in 09. Got everything set up this year. Used it once. Worked perfectly. Timer shut it off as specified, never worked again. Replaced fuse. No go. After an online search to trouble shoot, looks like I'm not the only one. What a waste of money, but at least I didn't pay full price. Still have to get a central control to get my lights going this year...What a crock!

This product worked as advertised the first year. This year is a different story.
It has "power in" but no "power out".
Fuse is good. Outlets do not have any power.
Can't get phone assistance at all.Gemmy only has "self help" phone service.
UNBELIEVABLY BAD PRODUCT.

I had this. Had the one even with the extra receiver to plug lights into and it connected to the main controller to power more lights. It was fantastic! for 1 year. 2nd year it ran and then the fuse blew.

Well, they don't make those fuses or they are near impossible to find. I finally found some at radio shack but they weren't quite the same but the guy said they would work. Nope. Not at all. Ran for awhile again and then blew.

It was not overloaded any of the times.

Its now fried. Complete POS. I'm not the only one who had issues. I know other people who bought the exact same one I did and the same thing happened. And not just here in PA, different states so it wasn't some batch sent here, I didn't get a lemon. They just aren't built to last OR to be able to get replacement fuses for.

I'm hoping that it works. Its not a Gemmy so there's hope. I'll write a review when I get it out and test it and verify the parts can be replaced if needed.

Don't buy this one.

On the plus side, when it was running it did scare the coyotes out of living in the woods near the house. They moved on. So that was actually a pretty big plus.
