Won't all be gifts afterall, December 5, 2011

When I first opened the package of purse hooks I had ordered, I was disappointed in the poor quality of the tiger eye stone. Then I went to turn it to get a better view and the stone wasn't even attached to the purse hook and fell into my hand. On another purse hook in the same order, the amethyst was a poor quality stone as well. Since I am familiar enough with amethyst to expect a less-than-best quality for an item like this, I decided it was passable, although maybe not for a gift. At least that stone is attached. The other purse hooks were pretty enough to give as gifts but I admit I'm just hoping the stones don't fall out for the recipients later. All in all, the group of purse hooks wound up having ratings of awful through quite nice in it but the fact that two stones weren't very good and one fell out makes me rate this lower than I might have otherwise.
