2.0 out of 5 stars Did not work, May 13, 2010
This review is from: GenSelect 1-Month Boy Baby Home Kit (Health and Beauty)
I purchased Gen-Select to get a son after 3 daughters. It has been confirmed twice that I am having my 4th daughter. I hope they will refund my money once the baby arrives. The problem is that the baby has to be here to request a refund (they want the birth certificate AND a letter from your doctor) but they also set you within a certain time frame that you can request the refund. So if you charted your cycle for a few extra months or didn't get pregnant right away after buying it, you won't get a refund. By the way, I followed the plan precisely, and the disappointment has been very difficult.

1.0 out of 5 stars Almost impossible to use, September 3, 2010
This review is from: GenSelect 1-Month Boy Baby Home Kit (Health and Beauty)
I used the Genselect kit for a boy for two months. I did not get pregnant (which is unusual for me when trying!) and suspect that it lowered my fertility either because of the vitamins or the douche. I therefore can't say if it would have worked or not - I decided not to continue using it for fear of lowered fertility and because I found it so hard to use. The pills made me feel yucky and the diet you have to follow for a boy seemed unhealthy (no whole grains, fish, nuts, etc) and unlike how I usually eat. In addition, the methods of measuring peak fertility didn't work for me at all - I followed the instructions for taking my temperature religiously for three months and absolutely no pattern developed. The pee sticks are to be used twice a day close to ovulation but they say to use them at 10am and 10pm not having peed for at least four hours prior to taking the test. Are you kidding? I can't go from 6am to 10am without peeing or the same at night! It all seemed totally ridiculous and a big waste of money to me.

1.0 out of 5 stars didn't work, November 4, 2010
This review is from: GenSelect 1-Month Boy Baby Home Kit (Health and Beauty)
I bought the 2 months kit, followed all the instruction step by step. I am pregnant and just had an ultrasound, the baby is not the gender I wanted.

Please don't spend on this product. I am still not sure if they are going to return my money or not.
