Manual transfer switches are the fast, safe, and simple way to feed portable generator power to a load center. They are remarkably easy to use: just plug the generator cord into the Gen/Tran, start the generator, move the switches from 'Line' to 'Gen,' and you have power. Safe operation is ensured by the double-throw action, which keeps the generator isolated from the utility line at all times, eliminating the danger of back feeding. Installation is quick, in most cases taking less than one hour. It is recommended that you consult a qualified electrician for installation.
