About the Author

Madhavi Sunder is Professor of Law at the University of California, Davis, USA, and a recipient of a Carnegie Corporation Scholarship for 2006-2008. Her work traverses numerous legal fields, from women's human rights law to intellectual property and cultural theory. She has published articles in the Yale Law Journal, the Stanford Law Review, and the California Law Review. Professor Sunder was awarded the Honorable Mention in the Association of American Law Schools Scholarly Paper competition in 2002 and the Stanford/Yale Jr. Faculty Award in 2006.
