5.0 out of 5 stars Well written and well researched
After reading the book myself, I have found the author's topic to be well researched. The content and conclusions are supported by researched and cited documentation, and the examples assist one in keeping the topics in perspective. The author's only bias seems to be encouragement of impartiality, particularly in research and other academic settings. This book will...

3.0 out of 5 stars Gender: Psychological Perspectives (5th Edition)
This book was required for one of my classes. It must be good or my professors would not have assigned me to read it. :-)

There's a lot of good 'meat' on the subject within.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bla Bla Bla, June 29, 2004
By A Customer
This book is possibly the worst I have read in a long time. It blabs on making inane points with specific examples that justify the exact inane point. It even says "science" was started in Europe in the 16th century...um sure... The According to the Media and According to the Research sections are rediculous. The author's own personal bias towards physchology is more easily seen than say Michael Moore's bias towards America in Stupid White Men. This book is a waste of your time.
