THESE RESTORED MOVIES WERE ABSOLUTELY GREAT. I HAVE 31 OF MR. AUTRY MOVIES AND WOULD RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE LOOKING FOR A GOOD ROLE MODEL AND ACCORDING TO HIS LIFE STORY A WONDER PERSON AND GREAT MAN, WATCH THESE MOVIES. ALSO I ENCOURAGE YOU TO LET YOUR CHILDREN WATCH FOR A GOOD DOSE OF GOOD OLD FASHION MORALS AND IDEAS. THESE RESTORED MOVIES WERE THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN AND CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT SET TO BE RELEASED. THE WORLD STILL NEEDS A HERO LIKE GENE AUTRY. HE WAS ONE ON THE SCREEN AND FROM WHAT I READ OF HIS LIFE HE WAS ALSO THE SAME KIND AND GOOD HEART PERSON THAT DID LIVE BY HIS "GENE AUTRY COWBOY CODE"

This set contains six of Gene's best films, nicely remastered, with great picture and sound. Many other video releases of Gene's films are taken from scratchy and spliced up 16mm prints made for TV stations in the 1950s and those look horrible compared to this set. This set is a proper presentation of these films, from 35mm materials.

Good clear picture with excellent sound. I would b happy to discuss it with you if you care to buy it.

This set is perfect. The movies have been restored and are un cut,there are no snap crackle,or pop in the sound and the stories are great,,hope to see another set come out soon with 6 more,you dont have to think hard either,just turn the vcr on and enjoy the best cowboy movies of gene autry, just wish they came in dvd format.

The Gene Autry Collection has some of Gene's best performances in it, like "South of the Border" & "Strawberry Roan". Its full of action and the heroic theme. I suggest this collection to anyone who loves old movies with interesting plots.
