This PrimePact generator features a single-cylinder, 407cc Generac OHVI (Overhead Valve Industrial) engine--the only engine designed specifically for generator use. It comes standard with automotive style pressure lubrication and spin-on oil filter that ensure proper lubrication of internal engine components at all times to reduce engine wear and provide improved fuel efficiency--saving you fuel costs over the life of the generator. It also offers advanced heat reduction technology such as plateau-honed cylinders that lessen break-in time, plasma moly ring seals that help to keep excess oil out of the cylinder, and graphite piston inserts that provide a smoother surface for the piston to move against--all helping to contribute to a significantly longer engine life.Multiple muffler configurations allow for easy adaptability for virtually any installation, and you get easy access to all maintenance items including the automotive style spin-on oil filter. Other features include a main line circuit breaker for overload protection, high-temperature shutdown to prevent damage from overheating, and a 2 amp "trickle charger" that maintains the battery when the generator is in use.
