By far the most economic RV generator option for kW output, Generac's reliable PP50LP PrimePact liquid propane-powered RV generator helps you stay focused on having fun during your RV vacation and avoid worrying about your generator. The PP50LP (model 4164) provides fuel efficient operation at a constant speed of 2,571 RPM (for 4,500 watts of power) with superior cooling capacity.
Powered by Generac's vaunted OHVI engine, the PP50LP gives you an engine life that is three to four times longer than competitive generators and allows you to go longer between scheduled maintenance checkups. It's an excellent choice for Class A and C motorhomes (single roof A/C), travel trailers, sport utility trailers, fifth wheels, horse trailers, and industrial vehicles.
Compliance: This Generac RV generator is certified by CARB, EPA, RVIA, and the U.S. Forest Service.
Reliability for the Long Haul
Generac understands the freedom of RVing. Turn on the A/C, microwave, or TV whether you are en route, staying at a campsite, or boondocking in the middle of nowhere. Having access to power at all times is essential to your comfort--in all altitudes and under all conditions. Engineered specifically for the unique needs of recreational vehicles, Generac RV generators start quickly and run quietly, deliver reliable power, and have extra power and surge capacity built-in.

Power your RV adventures with a Generac generator.
You'll be able to run sensitive electronics--from laptops to HDTVs--with stable power that is optimized by Generac's solid state frequency voltage regulator. A durable, all-steel enclosure with RhinoCoat finish and internal muffler system provide superior noise reduction that meets or exceeds all national park noise standards. An industry standard footprint on all models makes installation easy, and the generator's up-front design means you can conveniently access the air, oil and fuel filters, spark plugs, and other components for routine maintenance and servicing.
Powerful OHVI Engine with Plenty of Wattage
This PrimePact generator features a single-cylinder, 407cc Generac OHVI (Overhead Valve Industrial) engine--the only engine designed specifically for generator use. It comes standard with automotive style pressure lubrication and spin-on oil filter that ensure proper lubrication of internal engine components at all times to reduce engine wear and provide improved fuel efficiency--saving you fuel costs over the life of the generator. It also offers advanced heat reduction technology such as plateau-honed cylinders that lessen break-in time, plasma moly ring seals that help to keep excess oil out of the cylinder, and graphite piston inserts that provide a smoother surface for the piston to move against--all helping to contribute to a significantly longer engine life.
Multiple muffler configurations allow for easy adaptability for virtually any installation, and you get easy access to all maintenance items including the automotive style spin-on oil filter. Other features include a main line circuit breaker for overload protection, high-temperature shutdown to prevent damage from overheating, and a 2 amp "trickle charger" that maintains the battery when the generator is in use.
Travel with Confidence
All Generac RV generators are covered by an industry leading 3-year limited transferable warranty. With trained and authorized service locations throughout North America, you can rest assured that needed support is within reach no matter which road you take.
