General Chaos is one of the best games I have ever played for Genesis, ever. Basically you are just trying to destroy your opponent using any means necessary. Flame throwers, tnt, machine guns, grenades, and some kinda thing that shoots fire a really long way.

This game is amazing. It is a lot of fun, especially the cooperative functions of it. If you like to play two player coop. games this is the one for you. It is a series of levels, kind of like the original "Rampage", only you have four guys and you are attempting to kill the enemy army, just on the screen. They are usually also four guys. It involves trapping them and cooperating to acheive the goal. Great game. I love it.

Came with no case, but probably the best 4-player sega game aside from NBA Jam. Takes a minute to get use to, but highly addictive!

General Chaos

Holy Crap, way to many amazing things I have to say about this game, it could possibly be the top 5 best multiplayer games to date. This game feeds off the competitive instincts brotherly have or sisterly if you happen to be some cool ass dames and quenches the thirst when you aim your bazooka to cause total destruction.
The game I believe was derived from an old NES Game North vs South which I need to review in the near future. First things each player could choose what side your on, Red Team or Blue... and each take turns selecting a state in a made up map, at opposite sides is the opposing teams base which is ultimately the goal. Now you could select a team of 5 which is a point and click or a team of 2 which is completely controlled by you(best choice for vs. matches) The teams consist of a Machine Gunnest, Flame Thrower, Bazooka and Granader. The maps have everything from rocks to walls, broken down cars and rivers to use as fortification or a good spot to kiss your ass good bye. This game has stood the test of time, and if time was really a test every answer would be: Is the answer A: General Chaos B: General Chaos C: General Chaos or D: General Chaos and Chines Food. Thus it passes the test.
I guarantee you'll enjoy this game while yelling out medic which could be 1 of 2 things... maybe both if your lucky, 1 medic is your well trained dog that can retrieve you a cold one because this game is so good you don't want to pause it or 2. Your yelling at your bud to come rescue you so you can take out the water tower for bonus points. Grab the game at your local flee market or Ebay, doesn't matter because GC is the reason why we pick up the controller.

I remember borrowing this game from a friend back in middle school when the Sega genesis was on the level of the Xbox 360. Back in the good old days of gaming there wasn't any fancy internet or pretty review websites were you could learn about games. It was either word of mouth or if lucky you got to read about a game in a magazine like gamepro(do they still sell those?). General Chaos was the game that you didn't hear to much about. It was one of those games you'd see on the rental shelf but over looked it to go try games that you had heard about (true story). When my middle school buddy let me borrow the game for the weekend it changed my perspective abou games altogether.

General Chaos was the game that made me to this day purposely look over the popular games to dig into the bins to find 5 star games that get over looked. This game is so much fun. It has a charm about it that is hard to capture. It's fun to play alone but this game is really about playing with your friends. This is a game that you can tell the developers had fun making. At the time there really wasn't a game that had this type of humor placed into it.Controlling 4 muscle bound commando stereo types...blasting away at the enemy till they were all obliterated. It was just all out fun. You pick the guys and you make up your strategy to win...because trust me the game is fun but no so easy. Sometimes you might lose all your guys and have one sole commando to play with. I remember hte flame thrower and the machine gunner being the best. If you like playing army games than this is the game to hunt down and add to your sega collection. In the era this game it was released it held a special place because it was a combative co-op game. There really weren't many games you and your friends could play side by side like that together back in the Sega days. You might be able to count them all on one had. That truly made the game that much mroe fun.

I don't know what would compare to this game today. It's certainly not a game that could be remade it couldn't stand up to your call of duties and Army of two's and the like. This game stood out because those type of games didn't exist. There wasn't online play just invite your friend over and play and this game was the way to go. I hope that this game finds its way to a download on sombodies systems. Nintendo,Ps3, Xbox whatever because even to this day its charm still holds strong.

Ok, so you start as this squad of guys that you get to pick before the outset of each battle. Then you manuever your men around the map positioning them stragetically so you can get your flamethrower to start some guys pants on fire, but then some bazooka man with a sturdy helmet jumps over a log and blows your flame spitter into a pile of bones! Oh no! This game is great, play cooperatively or head to head and win back Moronia!

A classic. Sure brilliance. Great innovation! Ever played Red Alert, or Tiberian Sun, or something of the sorts? This is in some way like this game. It's strategy. You use differnt men to destroy your opponent! This is child rivalry gone too far! The General Chaos is fighting his arch-enemy from days long past! But still, A VERY FUN AND CHALLENGING GAME!!

This game is awsome!!! I now have a ps2 but I am going to hook my sega up along with that just so I can play this game. My friend and I were trying to rember the name of this game and it FINAILY came to our heads, so we decided to order it. With 1 being the worst and 5 being the best, i give this game a 5

Chaos wreaks havoc on the screen as the two armies battle it out. Gameplay is awesome as you're army blows the enemies heads off. You can command up to five men but two can also be selected if you are the commando type. This is a definite game to put on your "get" list. That is if you still have a sega.
