I did not have a choice in buying this book. There were errors in a lot of the problems. It had more examples than explanations. I prefer more text.

I took chem before and had to drop it but with this book I was able to teach myself when the teacher could not get through to me. Its really easy to understand and has excellent examples. Great for anyone on anynlevel chem.

There are mistakes in the homework problems in this book. Many of the questions are poorly worded causing much confusion. The text does however explain the topics quite well.

Thus far I find this book to be extremely thorough and easy to follow. The index and glossary are superb and the examples given in the book make it very easy to understand problems and applications. This book is required for the chem II calss I am currently taking. However, it has been 7 years since I took chem I and this book also allows me to brush up on chem basics. It's really been a help.

Paid about $190 for new book with instant access to OWL. Received book with no access card. The back of the book states it should come with one. I was either sold a book that had been returned with the card taken out or Amazon doesn't sell it with the code but states that it does (instant access to OWL). I spoke with the publisher - they sell the code for $33.50. With that in mind, the book isn't really such a great price. Has anyone else not received the code when they purchased a new copy?

All I can say, not only about this seller but the product as well, is excellent. I think the only trouble I had was that the seller said that there was no writing within the book, but there was a little bit on the inside cover (in pencil so no big deal at all) other than that, this product is even better than described, and it shipped very fast and timely. I appreceiated the service and am totally willing to purchase from this seller again. Great Product!

This text book came in better condition than expected didn't realize it was going to be new. Very quick response. Great communication. A great person to do business with.
