This review is from: General Chemistry: The Essential Concepts (Hardcover)
This is a good text book for college level and university level chemistry. I am a lecturer and I recommend this book to all of my students, and I teach from it. Even though this is an old edition its cheaper and has still the general or same information as the newer editions. General Chemistry: The Essential Concepts

Amazing Text,
This review is from: General Chemistry: The Essential Concepts (Hardcover)
I checked out this text as a companion and supplement to McMurry/Fay's Chemistry (5°ed.), in and of itself a very good book. Chang was my go-to resource, though. Chang's clarity is incredible, and although it is shorter than McMurry, it is more concise and in greater depth. Now in my second semester of Gen. Chem., I am buying my own copy of this book rather than using the library's. I imagine it will be richly useful a year from now when I am studying for the MCAT.

The book is informative, covering all necessary aspects it should, great to understand Chemistry in depth. The hard cover makes the book sturdy.
