General Tool DCS400 Water Proof Data Logging Wireless Scope Inspection Camera

While this tool provides a decent picture outside in a brightly lit area, it doesn't work at all for the use it was intended for: interiors. It does have 2 LEDs on the camera end, but when you place it through a hole into a dark space you will see nothing but black. You have to get the camera to within 1 inch of a surface to see anything at all and then you are so close to it that what you see is useless. The LEDs look bright to the eye but they would need to be 1000 times brighter to get this camera to see anything inside an unlighted area - like a pipe for example. Maybe if the pipe was really tiny but it doesn't work at all on anything like a chimney or a large pipe.

Although I did not buy this tool for its intended use. I use it for looking over my head into tree limbs and under rocks for "Geocaches" without disturbing lizards, snakes and the such. Its a little big but I carry it in a back pack and it serves me well.

This does what it is advertised to do. I can't put it down, and everybody who sees it has to play with ("use") it. I have found more uses for it than I though I would.
