4.0 out of 5 stars Fiendishly fine...
Nice cane. Cool red eys and 'crystal ball' in the dragons mouth. The head is much cooler than I thought (it's a dark tinted silver). Also, a big plus over the others is that it screws in. Others have a button which may seem easier, but it makes it flimsy. The only beef I have with this is that once screwed in, the blade can hit the sides of the hollow shaft through...

Others have a button which may seem easier, but it makes it flimsy. The only beef I have with this is that once screwed in, the blade can hit the sides of the hollow shaft through motion. I was toying with the idea of placing someing inside the hollow steel shaft to keep the blade from hitting the shaft. Hmm, styrofoam maybe...

3.0 out of 5 stars Dragon Cane, May 23, 2011

The cane was ok but I will never purchace anything from Martial Arts SuperMarket. There was a plastic cap on the back of the cane. When I turned it to remove it and place a battery in the head, it broke. When I contacted M.A.S. they told me it didn't have a cap. I sent them pictures and they said I broke and they have no replacements so I was out of luck.

No support for what they sell at all.

4.0 out of 5 stars Husband Loves It, April 22, 2011

My husband loves this cane. I purchased it for him as a surprise for last year's Halloween. He's always wanted a cane and he loves dragons- so why not put the two together? The only downside is that the sword handle is a turn twist and shakes in its case rather than being quiet, stealthy and easily accessible to the sword.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty cool, December 31, 2010
This review is from: Fiendish Dragon Sword Cane (Misc.)
First off, it's a great cane. mine has a crystal ball in the dragon's mouth, the design is great and overall it's a snazzy thing!

However, the crystal ball doesn't stay in the dragon's mouth very well, and though that can be overlooked(since the cane itself is pretty awesome even without the shiny thing) there are a few things you might need/want to know:

First, if you're planning on using this as a cane in any way, expect some calluses and hand pain. the dragon's head is horned and rubs the hand hard, but nothing major. the eyes on the head are painted red. It in't shiny shiny paint, but it looks fine.

Second, the metal for the dragon's head is screwed tightly to the neck, which doesn't shake much, but there are some obvious file marks on the top of the nose and side horns, as well as a few inside the mouth, between the teeth, and there is some mismatch with the filed parts. The tongue isn't actually as curved as in the picture and mine goes slightly to the left.

Third, the sword itself doesn't come very sharp. Sharp enough to cut at a high speed, but not horribly sharp (pretty pointy, though). The sword is out of the cane when it's shipped, and the first time screwing the sword into the sheath, the final two turns are difficult to complete (it's a very tight fit), and if it isn't screwed in all the way, the blade rattles horribly. It takes five turns to unscrew.

the cane itself is heavy enough to damage things (and possibly heads) and can effectively be used as a club. not very balanced but it's to be expected.

Overall, this cane sword may be more suited for decoration rather than actual use, but I would recommend this. it's perfect for anyone between 5'7" and 6'0" if it needs to be used as a cane for any reason.
