A DIRTY INTAKE FILTER WILL CAUSE YOUR MICROWAVE TO BE LESS EFFICIENT. A DIRTY EXHAUST FILTER WILL NOT ONLY CAUSE POOR EFFICIENCY, BUT MAY ALSO ALTER THE TASTE OR SMELL OF YOUR FOOD.

Good deal,

This filter looks fine, and I assume it will work fine. The installation is strange as you have to wedge the filter in just right against some tabs. I didn't get it right the first time, but seemed to get it right the second.
At half the price of the GE filter the dealer was offering, it seems like a good deal. The pictures of both look the same, so I assume the installation would be the same for the two. I'd get it again.

WBO2X10943 Charcoal Filter,

This review is from: General Electric GENERAL ELECTRIC WB02X10943 CHARCOAL FILTER
Ordered a what is supposed to be a charcoal filter. Unit received fits physically but has a note on the frame that says it can be cleaned by washing with detergent. I thought charcoal filters could not be cleaned. Part number is correct but I now have my doubts that this is actually a charcoal filter.

GE filter is ok, but the microwave housing the filter is weird,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The filter arrived on time and was as advertized. I had a tough time trying to figure out how it fit in the top portion of the microwave. The owner's manual was not very helpful in verifying whether I had the filter installed correctly. It looked as if it was supposed to be propped up in an unorthodox manner, which is how, when all was finished, it ended up being installed.
