Previously bought base unit including extension unit and they worked fine. THEN, one of my kids dropped/completely submerged the extension unit in water. I thought "this phone is cashed," but i opened it up, dried it and it started working again (the read out screen was slightly affected - won't display letters in lower corner of screen.) So now I have an extra phone which i put in my office.

Works good. Plugged it in, it rang, the caller id said it was my drunken brother, didn't answer, he left a message, i remotely retrieved the message, he swore at me for not answering. I only wish this phone had selective call block
