Soft contact wearers have got it made as it is snap for them to remove their contacts. However RGP wearers do not have the luxury of squeezing the contact and 'bam' the contact is out. For us it is a struggle to push, prod, or cus at the contact to lift if off the eye. However with the RGP Inserter/Remover removal of the contact is a simple matter of placing the tool against the eye (like a rubber dart) and then remove... nothing could be so easy. Looks weird but works like a wonder...

I very seldom review anything, but let me tell you -- if you wear hard or gas permeable lenses, these are truly incredible. I couldn't get my lenses out without them. I am totally dependent on these. They are a miracle for me.

You do not get the white ones pictured they are the hard blue ones that almost dont work at all, you have to try 5-6 times for them
to maybe work. Save your money look for the white ones.

These are excellent to remove contacts that are rigid gas permeable and keep you from scratching your eyes while removing your contacts.

i am basically new at wearing gp lenses so my dr's assist. told me to get one of these and use it because i was having trouble getting them out the usual way (pulling of the eye lid sideways/blinking)and it works great,,smaller than what i thought it would be but overall a great product for rgp lens wearers to have on hand

RGP Inserter/Remover

This is a great product and I was so happy to find it available through amazon since many of the drugstores I checked did not carry them.

I've been a RGP wearer for years, but this still makes it much easier to take lenses out. Helps in putting them in, but that's never been an issue. Taking out the lense is now a matter of a couple of seconds and I haven't had to find one that "popped" out since I started using it.

I ordered 2, one for home, one for work (just in case). They came in quickly.

This little item turned out to be a lifesaver. That may be overstating it but it sure did come in handy when I had a problem removing my contact lens. I can highly recommended it. I only wished I had found it earlier. If you ever have trouble removing a lens, this is what you need.

I used to order these in the past and they were way cheaper than I can find them anywhere on the internet now. Still, they are so little that I somehow lose or vacuum up a couple a year so...

I was introduced to these by my eye doctor to remove a lens in an instant. You don't ever have to touch it with dirty hands that could contaminate the lens. (You can sqeeze the bottom to remove if you don't want to touch it.) And considering I have poison ivy right now I'm pretty darn glad that I didn't touch that lens yesterday considering even cleaner won't kill poison ivy oils...

At any rate, I don't like putting my finger in my eye to remove my lens not just for sanitary reasons but I am simply more comfortable removing it in a second with this lens remover rather than trying to roll it over my eye to get it to pop out.

So I have one in my bathroom and a spare in my purse...I'm never without one handy for instant removal if something gets in my eye or it's time to clean the lens.
