worth the $$ if you teach general science,

This review is from: Hands-On General Science Activities with Real-Life Applications: Ready-to-Use Labs, Projects, & Activities for Grades 5-12 (J-B Ed: Hands On) (Paperback)
The book is spiral bound so it is easy to photocopy. I have used about 10 of the activities. All activities have a answer key. What I like is there is a section of content for the student to read before completing an activity. All activities are hands-on. I have a general science class and I have used the activity on moon craters. Students actually create craters in flour. Students perm pieces of hair in the chem. section. I do protein synthesis activity with bio. I do an acid/base activity using cabbage juice. I use the activity for earthquakes. If you teach astronomy to biology there is an activity for you. Materials are inexpensive, too.

Great for science teaching and project ideas grades 7-9... if you have higher level or younger kids, you need to do some serious modifying.
