I originally bought this unit back in July of 2009. Within 2 weeks the readout stopped working for no apparent reason. I was able to return it and get a replacement. However, the replacement lasted 3 months of very light but daily use and the unit died the same way as the first. This unit's return window has expired so I can't return it.

Stay away from General Tools. This unit cost me over $90 and now it's a piece of junk. Once is an abberation, twice is a trend. I am going to buy a Hanna ph meter and not from Amazon. This thing is junk and Amazon stands behind it, so go figure.

Very disapointed Amazon shopper.
