The book certainly lists valuable areas in its contents, but certainly does not represent those areas as it should, especially for the high price associated with it. I find the book basic and brief of the most interesting areas in Math and Physics. Surprisingly, the title carries "wavelets" and the book touches so abruptly on it. Additionally, the book claims discussing coherent states, again people can find the same level of information in any graduate quantum mechanics textbook. Finally, the book had no modernity in the therein applications whatsoever. I recommend that the book be renamed more subjectively, as it stands I find the title very misleading for what it claims. In light of the above and the extreme brevity of the book on essential areas, I would not buy it for more than $60.
