The images in this book are at once erotic, artistic and kinky! You don't have to be "into" the fetish scene to admire the exceptional creative and technical photographic skills of Lee Higgs. Included are over 350 images of sometimes attractive, sometimes intense, always fascinating woman with leather, ropes, piercings and strap-ons . . .shot in Higgs' unique wide-angled, color-skewed style. Anyone who admires superb photography or simply wants a glimpse into the world of fetishism should own this book . . .it's one of my guilty pleasures!

Generation Fetish is nothing less than a masterpiece of stimulating, artsy, fetish photography. What's most striking is not just the imagery itself, scantily-clad, beautiful girls are always striking, but the extraordinary way that Higgs incorporates color and composition. The entire book is a psychedelic carnival of sexual and fetish imagery showcasing lush and dramatic scenes, rich saturated colors, weird angles and twists, and a collection of women who are undeniably arousing make this book a dreamworld that even Gumby would get off on ... if he could get inside.

It's a breathtaking new vision, albeit one that not everyone will immediately understand, so don't be surprised to hear critics saying they didn't "get it". Don't be swayed though, the art world would be well served if it had more creatives like Lee Higgs pumping out exciting and original works like this.

Generation Fetish is a superb publication and a great intro to Lee Higgs' work. And after working your way through its 368 pages you'll very likely be craving for more.

Wow, this is the most original and sexy book of photos that I have seen in a long time! Here is someone who looks at sexuality in a way that is really fresh and unique, and is not afraid to show all kinds of women and all kinds of moods. It took me a few hours to get through it the first time - I was drawn into the photos like I was entering a new world.

The book is nicely done too, with over 300 photographs, on good rich paper with a solid binding. I'm not sure what the last reviewer is talking about - there are far more photos in this book than most photography books. I will treasure this one for years.

I was really stunned the first time I saw these photos, and I have spent many hours going through the book. I've never seen anything quite like it. The photos are sexy, erotic, artistic, disturbing, challenging, playful, mysterious and beautiful. This is the first really interesting book of photography that I have seen in quite a while. And one of the only books that presents lesbian sexuality with a female perspective. I would recommend this to anyone interested in photography, to straight men and women, and to gay and bi women.

I have been a fan of Lee Higgs' work for a long time, and I have to say that I have been blown away by this book. His pictures are as beautiful as they are sexy, and they capture feelings, thoughts and ideas that are often hard to put into words.

This is a great book and it even fits nicely into a breifcase for those mid-day fixes (Just don't pull it out infront of co-workers).

When I first came across the work of photographer Lee Higgs, I was immediately drawn to his use of alternative photographic mediums and his particular choice of subject material.

From his use of angles, distorted perspective and intense colours, Lee manages to achieve a bizaree mix of emotions that charge these texts with a passion and insight sadly lacking in a lot of photographic work today.

The visual texts contained within the hardbound cover of this book are a blend of the most powerfully charged erotic, and intense images that I have seen for a long time.

As well as constantly gaining personal inspiration for my own work, I am continually encouraged by the responses of those that I have shown the book too.

I have no qualms at all at recomending this book to all interested.

you don't have to be into fetish to enjoy this book. higgs' photography is so full of color and fascination...anyone could enjoy it. the women in this book have such mystery to them and they are so beautiful. when i picked this up in a bookstore a few months ago i couldnt put it down. i had it read before it left the store with me!

I met this man on BME (a body modification community website) and loved what pictures he had up. I got a link from his site and wanted to die when I found out he had a book published. I had thought that his art was wonderful! Lastnight I finally found a bookstore AROUND my area where I could buy Generation Fetish. It was the best spent [money] I've ever dealt with. His angles and colors are what spun me around but he also has a great eye for what is arousing. I was only wishing there was more and that the photos were larger. (Although they aren't a bad size anyway) Great book!

The first time you look through Lee's book, you are so overwhelmed with each image that you can't remember the one you just saw on the previous page! The second time, you begin to choose your favorites. Each time after that, you discover new details in the pictures that reach out to you personally. Local legend has it that one of the images is so controversial that the publisher initially refused to print it. See if you can guess which one it is!
