The exciting new Freedom V wireless guitar controller offers a 100 foot radius of Auto- Sense wireless connectivity for up to 800 hours of play on one battery pack (4 AA batteries not included). It includes a patent-pending recessed Start button, which prevents players from accidentally pausing the game, and a finely tuned, highly responsive chrome Super Whammy System whammy bar, which incorporates a heavy gauge coil spring for extreme durability. Players love the feather-touch sensitivity of the buttery fret buttons on the fast-action neck, and its Smart Bidirectional Accelerator sensor allows players to simply "Tilt Upwards" the controller to enter the Star Power bonus mode of the game-instead of having to play the controller while raising the guitar vertically. The Rocking Rhythm strum bar has been tuned for a tighter feel and a more precise response, and all Guitar Mania controllers are made of environmentally friendly materials, which have passed the stringent RoHS standard set forth by the European Union.

It works OK. The range and freedom of movement are what really made me want to like this guitar. However the fret buttons are too high and the red one gets stuck down periodically. The higher fret buttons slow down my playing to the point that I went back to the original GH controller. The red fret button sticking would happen often enough to cause me to lose. It's frustrating when it's not your lack of playing ability that makes you lose.

Received item on time, but once we started to play with it, it fades in and out and does not work for long. We have contacted the seller, but have not heard back. Hopefully we can exchange for a new one with a cord (this unit was cordless and perhaps a coreded one would work better!)

I think that you could not possibly go wrong getting this guitar. It is the best one I ever used because of its perfect handleing and realistic shiny look. It dos'nt make a bunch of noise when you play it. With it i have finished all four levels including expert so I highly recomend this guitar to anyone looking to buy it.
