I keep this great reference book, along with Daniel Mowrey's other book "The scientific validation of herbal medicine" on my bookshelf. This book reviews the scientific information on more current herbs and herbal remedies, such as Gingko, Billberry, Centella, and others, with very precicse and interesting information on how they work in the body, with references to all the current studies being done on them. I also like the fact that he recommends certain combinations to maximize the potentiation of each herb. Both of these books are well designed for easy referrence, good index, and logical arrangement of information. Thanks :-)

Daniel B Mowery is a Professional Herbalist with knowledge of the Science of certain herbs. I was searching for writings by him and found this Item on Amazon.Note: You need some knowledge of Herbology to grasp his way of writing. Excellent for the professional...OR...those who aspire to know more! Could be out of circulation in near future. |
