Obesity and all of it's related complications has been sneaking-up on unsuspecting parents. This book helps parents identify the problems and offers great examples of what NOT to do as well as...

Basically just common sense about avoiding junk food. Doesn't live up to the product description or the raving reviews, not a detailed guide at all. And some of their "healthy" recipes are cooked in a microwave, need I say more?

5.0 out of 5 stars An Essential Read for All Parents, September 4, 2007
This review is from: Generation XL: Raising Healthy, Intelligent Kids in a High-Tech, Junk-Food World (Hardcover)
All parents with an inkling of health consciousness must read this book. Dr. Mercola and Dr. Lerner did a remarkable job of spelling out just what the children of today need to become the healthy adults of the future. Please read it, for your children's sake!

5.0 out of 5 stars Much needed information, March 2, 2009
This review is from: Generation XL: Raising Healthy, Intelligent Kids in a High-Tech, Junk-Food World (Hardcover)
Great Book!! This book is good for anyone who wants to raise truly healthy kids in our fast-food, couch potato world. Follow the advise in this book and your kids will standout and look exceptional physically and mentally compared to everyone else. The sad truth is we are all exceptional, but few reach their God given potential.
