These controllers are good quality for the money. I have not been able to play the PS2 for about 6 months due to bad controllers. These controllers are great they have full OEM functions working rumble (rare for this price). The only issue is the cables are a little short.

Off-Brand Model Fills The Need,

Sadly, my beloved PS2 equipment is wearing out, most notably my controllers. The buttons (particularly the L1, L2, R1, R2) seem to get sticky or outright stuck, making the controller unusable. This off-brand controller fills the void effectively, and compares well (but not perfectly) to the original PS2 Dual Shock controllers. There are two immediate differences I've noticed: 1) The cable is about a foot shorter then the original PS2 version, and; 2) The action of the controller (buttons, analog dials, 4-way pad) is a little stiffer. Overall, gameplay has been good, though, as this controller's responsiveness seems comparable. Hard-core gamers would probably prefer the Sony-brand product because of the stiffness of this model's action. If you're looking for a decent way to replace your PS2 Dual Shock controller (and save yourself a couple bucks), this would be a decent choice.

The controller is good except the buttons aren't pressure sensitive like the original Sony controller. It is just as responsive as any controller only i would suggest spending the extra money on a Sony brand controller.

the keys are harder than the original game pad. i don't recommend this product, it gives you some disadvantages in the game.

This is not a OEM controller, but for those of us still playing with a PS2 it is a very good cost replacement.

This is an OK controller as far as the buttons go, however it doesn't even compare to the Sony brand controller... or most others for that matter. Both sticks have a ridiculously small response threshold on all axes. From the center (0°) to the edge (roughly 40°) the actual response area is about 25ish° to 35ish° which makes the purpose of me purchasing this product null in its entirety. Also, the select button takes a tremendous amount of pressure for it to respond, this is not a very big problem since the select button is not frequently used during gameplay, however it would be nice to change views in need for speed...

This is a third-party copy of a PS2 controller. The cord is about 2 feed shorter than the official Sony controller. My slim PS2 only recognized one controller at a time, even when paired with an official Sony controller. Other than that this controller worked fine.

I feel a little guilty about my desire to complain about something that cost so little, but the truth must be heard. It does the job of a controller just fine. My major complaint was the vibration. When triggered by the game the controller would not stop vibrating. It must be unplugged then plugged back in and disabling that feature on the game. The buttons are labled with some standard scribble but the colors are right. Overall not unhappy I bought it. It was fun not caring about throwing it across the room. in the end like with everything in life. You get what you pay for.

This controller feels the same as the Sony Dualshock controller for the PS2 the only difference is the design on the circle, triangle, X, square buttons.

i bought this for $1.85, and the controller certainly does feel like $1.85. The buttons stick out a bit far and they are slightly hard to press. Also the R3 and L3 buttons are much stiffer and pretty much garbage. Fortunately for me, I bought the controller for the 2p slot, which is always my opponent :D
