Not OEM, and does not come with rubber seal required for proper fit. I had to scrape off the old one and glue to the new filter, not what I expected.

WOrks great. Need to mention to order the seal too or include it. I wrapped the diameter of the thing with tape till it fit snug.

This is a good inexpensive replacement but you will have to remove the old gasket from your existing filter and glue it onto this one. Not hard but for some not to easy. I used weather strip adhesive and let it dry for a couple hours before inserting it into the vacuum cleaner. The seller ships fast and is easy to contact.

Dyson claims their HEPA filters never need to be replaced, but that's just not true. Like any other air filter, the HEPA filter will get clogged up with tiny particles, causing your expensive vacuum that never loses suction, to lose suction. It's no different than the filter on your HVAC system.

The bad news, then, is that Dyson doesn't offer OEM replacement filters. This isn't a bad alternative, although I do wish it came with a rubber gasket so I didn't have to pull the old gasket off the old filter and glue it onto the new one. I had owned mine for about four years before doing this, and I wish I'd done it after two. It fits perfectly and the vacuum sucked like new after replacement.

There's not exactly much to comment on... It's a filter, it's the right size, it works as expected and it was reasonably priced.

Note - if you are thinking about buying one of these you will also need to buy a replacement foam seal for the bottom. Don't expect to be able to remove and re-use the old seal - they are stuck on and get damaged easily when tryng to remove them.

The filter works and replacing it really helped the suction in my vaccume but it smells horrible. The first time I used the vaccume after installing this filter I thought I'd broken a belt it smelled so bad.

It kinda fit, would suggest that you buy a new gasket to go along with this filter, its thinner and not quite a big as the original equipment It's a cheap knock off and you get what you pay for .

Was looking forward to having this as a backup filter, but was disappointed to find out it did not fit the DC-07 at noted...
