Generic Eureka Style U Belt

I ordered two, got two ;)

These belts worked perfectly on my housemate's Eureka "The Boss" (yellow cuz that's how she roll).

I opted for these instead of the "extended" "heavy duty" ones because it almost sounded like the heavier duty material wasn't as flexible and folks were experiencing snappage! One reviewer suggested setting your vacuum to the appropriate height level for your pile carpet and that setting it too low was the fastest way to snap your bands. So I'm keeping that in mind too.

On a technology aside: it's funny how often people think they need to replace something like a vacuum when they just need to get a belt. So many things are like this... we're so immediately overwhelmed by unexpected behavior from our tech I guess. And maybe a part of us is really looking for an excuse to get that new Dyson :p But once the old tech is repaired, it does often run very well. I say run it into the ground, wait for the Dysons to come down in price, then consider 'em. Just my 2 sense (sic)

This is the second time I have ordered these and would do so again. They arrived quickly, fit, and work just as well as the OEM one that came with the vacume.

Had a vacuum that stopped working, and finally realized the belt had snapped. Did a little research as to what belt worked, picked these up for next to nothing, and we're back on track! Great deal!

Sometimes it is difficult to find a replacement part. And to receive it withing a few days, was perfect. It was
exactly what I needed to fix a vacuum, I thought about throwing away. thank you

It works great in my Hoover Empower, and for half of what I would have paid for a name brand belt in the store.
