The information on this product is really misleading. It says "designed to fit all Hoover Foldaway Uprights." I have a Hoover widepath Foldaway and it does NOT fit. I will be returning these.

I have hoover fold away. says right in the description fits item # 43615-090 which is what it says on my vacuum and it does NOT fit.

These fit on my Hoover Fold Away Vacuum -- they fit great, and it feels so much better to have a clean filter. At this great price, I bought 5 so I can change them more often.

I have an older Foldaway model - one of the first to come out, and this filter did not fit my vacuum! Maybe the newer models have a slightly smaller diameter oval in the filter cup, but mine was just a tiny bit too big as the filter wouldn't fit. Considering this is about 1/2 the price of them in stores like Wal-mart, I should have known you get what you pay for. I threw it away and promptly bought Fabreeze scented filters by Hoover in Wal-mart for approx. $13. They're more expensive, but at least they fit!! Don't waste your money if you have an older model Foldaway vacuum.

I read some of the other reviews with people who said that the filter wouldn't fit.
When I first tried to put the filter on, I had the same problem. I'm not sure
if this because it is a little smaller or because the rubber casket is made of a a stiffer
material. However, what I found, if you set the filter down on a flat surface - with the
open end facing up - take the part that pushes into it and line it up perfectly straight
over the hole and push straight down... with a little pressure it will slide on without
any problem. It may be a little tighter than the original filters, but for less than half the
price, it is definitely worth the little extra effort.

Seems to work fine. It fits my model. I don't have any way to really compare it with my old filter since the old one had been on there for 5+ years. (Yeah, I know.)

I realize it's a "generic" filter but I can't tell any difference. Anyway, the price on these were pretty good and they seem to get the job done. I can't really complain.

This filter was exactly the right size for my Hoover Widepath Foldaway U5175-900. No modification required for my vac.

Like other reviewers have said, it doesn't fit. That's true but you can take a pocket knife and shave off just a little bit on the inside of the rubber seal. it takes about 40 seconds to do. Then it fits. Cheaper than the Hoover ones.

Bought this for our Hoover foldaway and it did not fit at all! Had to throw it away as I purchased it a while back and no longer have the receipt - not sure it would be worth returning anyway. Waste of money!!!!

No, because these filters do NOT fit the Foldaway WIDEPATH vaccums. I didn't know that there was a difference - I searched for the model number of our original Hoover filter and this one came up based on the search. Rather misleading. Anways I'm sending these back...wish I paid more attention to the bad reviews
