1.0 out of 5 stars immitation product August 21, 2010

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I've had the pleasure of owning one of these controllers in the past. It's a fake, it does a real good job at looking like the real thing. The controller does hold up for light games but breaks down in games that require some pin point stress. Y button broke down fast, A button got stuck, R button became unresponsive. I got it for 10 dollars and it wasn't even worth that, it lasted less than a week. As other reviewers said, it's cheap plastic. As for even opening the product, I didn't bother, but the original gamecube remotes require a tri-head screwdriver, same one that is needed to open a DS. It's something that has to be specially ordered to fix or modify their products.

It won't last, spend the extra bucks and get a nintendo branded remote, it will prove the test of time.

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY January 3, 2010

Cheap imitation. Cheap plastic case, no Nintendo logos, stiff buttons/sticks. The one I received has a broken Y button. Avoid this at all costs and buy an Official Nintendo controller. Worst Gamecube controller ever.

1.0 out of 5 stars Craptastic October 16, 2009

First off the controller is not even a real Nintendo product, there is no Nintendo logo or seal of approval on it. The cord for the controller is thin and incredibly short. The plastic is also cheap and I'm pretty sure most of the buttons aren't properly placed in the controllers frame. The packaging was also something to be improved upon. i really hate to see things like this (even if it's fake)be put into a regular envelope. All in all, i rate this product poor and all those who look at this know that it is not a real Nintendo product and view it as such.

1.0 out of 5 stars to echo another reviewer--do not buy May 5, 2010
Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
We have had two of these. One broke within two days of play. Replaced it, the second one lasted less than one week. Control stick collapsed inward on the thing, buttons fell off. Pay the extra $10 and get the official Nintendo one Amazon also sells. I gave it 1 star because they won't let you do zero or less. The colors on this one are pretty, buy the thing is a cheap, plastic piece of junk. We have bought the official Nintendo one (White with a 10 foot cord to match the Wii) and it is durable and works great. I am now ordering a second one of the official Nintendo controller.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't try to play games with it. July 7, 2012

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
I don't know who made this or why. It doesn't respond well, and pieces start coming off of it if you try to actually use it. I bought it to play 4-player games, but nobody I know actually LIKES using it. I can only come up with two real uses for this controller:

1: Give it to someone who wants to play a game with you, when you're hoping they'll change their mind and leave you alone.

2: Put it on your shelf to give the appearance that you play video games when you don't actually own any.

In other words, you're far better off buying a controller actually made by Nintendo, not this one. Don't waste your money on this.

Fun: 1.0 out of 5 stars
Had issues with the buttons and stick action from the get go. LL button got stuck and stopped working completely by the end of week one. Controller stopped working on a whole just after. Big waste of money, do yourself a favor spend a bit more and get a brand name control.

1.0 out of 5 stars IT DIDN'T EVEN WORK!!!!! February 21, 2014

I had bought this as a Christmas present for my little brother. He was happy to finally have one that worked, when he opened up the present (or so he thought). But apparently we were both wrong! When we took it out of the brand new packaging it didn't work!!!!! I was very mad and frustrated to find this out and now we have another gamecube controller that doesn't work.

1.0 out of 5 stars Frail main stick January 21, 2014

Main stick broke after one casual usage. I didn't have this controller for more than three days and it broke. Just go ahead and buy a first party controller.
