Works as Advertised...... So Far,
By
This review is from: Wireless Sender (Electronics)
I have been pleased with the unit so far. Sends the D-TV signal roughly 75ft across the house with good picture and sound quality. I read the reviews about these units not working after a few weeks, but mine has been working almost every day since Christmas 2008. I turn transmitter and receiver off after every use. Good Luck!

Rf Link RVS-5811,
This review is from: Wireless Sender (Electronics)
I purchased the RF AVS-5811 for one purpose which was to have the ability to play a CD on my Home Theater and 'stream' the audio to a separate receiver located some 30 feet away. I don't like broadcast radio mostly because I don't want someone else picking which music to listen to. Also, I grew tired of hearing the same car dealership ads which are repeated at several times an hour. So, I wanted to create my own Audio CD or either .wav or .mp3 songs which I play on my DVD playere and stream the music over both receivers and 12 speakers. The RF Link AVS-5811 does this perfectly. I use the device a great deal on weekends and only on a rare occasion do I experience any interference or popping/crackling sounds. I wanted a device which operated on the 5.8 Ghz band so not to interfer with my wireless router or cordless phone.
I have not used the video portion of the device so I can't rate the products ability to stream video. The audio works beautifully and I am very glad I purchased it.

Wireless Video Transmitter/Receiver a Great Buy,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Wireless Sender (Electronics)
I purchase this 5.8 Ghz Wireless Audio/Video Sender Transmitter to use in my workshop in my garage. From transmitter to receiver is approximately 50 feet through two walls and a bank of loaded metal shelving units. After playing with the aiming of the antennae I got it up an running with a clear picture and audio. I did get just a hint of interference when I stepped between the two antennae but remedied it by placing the receiver higher. I've even hooked it up to my Wii for watching Netflix movies and the IR extender allows me to used the basic Wii remote functions to control the movie.
I intend to purchase another one to use with an outside TV in the patio entertaining area for those special occasion like the Super Bowls or March Madness parties.
