First things first, I'd like to tell you that I am somewhat new to the new school Metalcore scene or whatever you want to call it. I'm from the late 90's early 2000's scene. I came up listening to bands like: Deftones, Incubus, Soulfly, Static-X, Slipknot etc... With that being said when I checked out Woe, Is Me they were right up my alley and I really like their new album Genesi[s]. I understand that they have two new singers and their old singers are in a new band and there is a lot of trash talking between the two and I am completely overlooking that. In fact, I prefer the style of the new vocalists over the old two. The vocals are a lot more aggressive and more metal. I don't necessarily prefer the clean vocals but they are a nice change of pace. The guitars are very groovy and keep a great rhythm and they have a really cool electronic edge with well placed DJ samples. All and all I think the new Woe, is me is better than the old and people really need to put the Woe, is me/Issues controversy behind them and appreciate the new sound! If you're a fan of Metal from this generation or older generations give this album a spin!

This band is not The Woe is Me that it used to be. if you're looking for dubstep and gay clean vocals go listen to Issues. This album has great catchy clean vocals, not to mention that this is the heaviest album they've put out. People are being haters. This is a solid album.

Unexpectedly great!
I had never heard this band before but their heavy style with electronic influences is amazing.
I recommend you check out this album if you've never heard em.
You'll more than likely find a track you can jam.

I heard the song "Family First" by Woe Is Me from a friend, so I gave this album a shot and it was one of the best musical choices I have ever made! A few songs are similar, but they all sound great. The songs that stand out the most are Family First, A Story to Tell, and F.Y.I.

This is one of my favorite albums. I have listened to it probably close to 20 times or more. Each song is different yet as a whole it comes together very well. The breakdowns are great and the clean vocals are so catchy I find myself singing along with them quite often.

A must buy!
