***** Joseph's story is one of the best loved tales in the Bible. Even a superficial reading reveals many things to the casual reader. However, to truly appreciate the beauty of this true parable of forgiveness and providence, one needs a good commentary. Dr. Boice's insights into the subject provides one of the best. Among the illuminating aspects of this extensive lesson are insights into the culture of the ancient world, notes on typology, and ties to other areas of the Scriptures. I can't reccommend this author too highly if you want to gain an in-depth education in Biblical studies in the most convenient and completely interesting way. *****
