I was delighted to read by James McKeown's commentary on Genesis. I think his theological approach is original and important since it offers a much more interesting alternative than the old stale JPED approach, which in my opinion is too pedantic to ever be spiritually uplifting.
It would be nice if more biblical scholars made the effort to stress the theological dimensions of the text in their commentaries. Mark sender12@aol.com |
