This 4 volume set is great! I found it at my local library then looked here at amazon and ordered them. It is great for getting the basic concepts and refreshing. I like the encyclopedia format. If you have taken a genetics course with a decent book you might find them redundant but for those whom are starting out in genetics or want to educate yourself these books are a good start. I used them for reference for Anatomy and Physiology and some intro bio courses and they were very helpful. If you need a more complex and detailed genetics text check my other reviews. I'll try to remember to take a few snapshots and post.
