Replacement for original remote and it works great. Just open the case and move the dip switches and you are all set to go. Even came with the battery!

We lost the remotes to our garage opener, and didn't have the owners manual either. Frankly, the most difficult part was determining what kind of remote it needed. (it's a very old Genie - SP series)

This product arrived very promptly (thank you 365 GarageDoorParts!), was a breeze to set up, and voila, working garage doors!!!

When we moved into our new house there was no remote for our garage door. I looked around the internet for a suitable replacement and found this one. It's the same brand as our garage door opener so I thought I'd give it a try. It works quite well. It was super easy to program and only took a few minutes. It easily attaches to your visor and has quite a nice range on it. Exactly what I was lookin' for!

We were relieved to find a remote control for our 25 year old garage door. Works great and very easy to set.

It's exactly as described. Easier to open than the original. Just set the dip switches inside to the same code and it's ready to go. Comes with an inexpensive 9 volt battery that I replaced out of the box. I didn't expect any problems and I haven't had any. If you need a Genie Remote with 12 switches, then I'd recommend this.

This garage door remote works as advertised if you have a circa 1995 and older Genie garage door (like me). You simply match the 9 or 12 digit on/off code switches to the opener and away you go.

9-Volt battery was included, which is nice.

Range is what it needs to be, it works from the street as I'm pulling in the driveway. I haven't tried it from any farther away, because, seriously, why would you need to use it more than a few feet away from your driveway?

Perfect replacement or spare remote for almost any genie garage door. Nice that this one remote functions with both 9 or 12 switch openers. Just match the switch settings and it's ready to use.
Great added plus that it also comes with a battery. Small detail, but who thinks of having a battery at hand, and how frustrating to receive this, be all ready to use it, and have to go buy a battery yourself.
A week ago, I needed a replacement remote for another property. I bought this identical one at Home Depot for double this price. I needed it immediately, so had to buy it.
I saw this identical one here and bought it to have as a spare.

The garage door stopped opening. I was worried. I'm no Mr. Fix-It. I went to talk to Mr. Google. Mr. Google searched online for a Genie brand opener. Amazon had one. I ordered it. It arrived quickly, with the battery and clear, simple instructions. I followed the instructions. I crossed the fingers of my left hand. With the thumb of my right hand I pressed the button of the Genie garage door opener. That sound happened. The garage door opened. I pressed the button again. The garage door closed. Ahhhhhhhhh.

I bought two of these remotes to replace Genie AT95 remotes that stopped working. These remotes were easy to configure by copying the existing dipswitch settings from my existing remotes and they work great! Highly recommend to replace your older Genie garage door openers. Shipping was super fast also!

Lost the original control for our old Genie garage door opener (obviously we didn't use it.. opting to park on the driveway instead). After some thief stole the wheel covers to our car, we purchased this and set the switches on it to match those on the main unit. Worked like a charm. We can now park the car in the garage.
