The wall opener that came with my garage door opener was this exact model. The original one broke. The push button to open the door stopped working. I purchased a new one on amazon and I am glad I did. I like the fact that you can turn on the garage door opener's light without having to open the door. The vacation lock is great. No one can open the door from inside or outside when the lock is in the on position. Both buttons light up. Easy install. Because of the light function and the vacation function, I highly recommend this part. The part arrived before the due date.

The house I lived in for a few years had sinlge push-button garage door opener. When I needed extra light in the garage; there was no way to turn on the garage door light & have it stay on. I wasn't that worried about it until I stumbled upon this unit, here.

Now, I have the ability to flip on the garage door light without opening the garage (the light only stayed for 5 minutes). So, YES, I like being able to turn the light on, seperatly. The buttons are illuminated in red. Plus, you can lock/unlock the buttons (stops the kids from playing with the buttons). Installation was simple - took like 2 minutes. Honestly, this is most likely a one-time purchase for me because I can't see it breaking or malfunctioning any time, soon. All in all, I'm happy.

This replacement wall console solved all my opener problems;lights flickering at nite,garage door opening after closing,lights coming on without turning it on or opening the garage door. The installation of the console was easy and it covered the footprint of the previous installed wall console.

Replaces the exact console I had which wore out due to normal wear and tear over the past 8 years. I searched the Home Depot and a few other hardware stores in my area looking for a replacement. I'm extremely happy I found this item on Amazon. The total time it took to switch over to the new unit was less than 5 minutes. Thanks Amazon!

Perfect - allows you to turn the garage door opener light on (or off) while working in the garage. Also has a lock to disable the buttons while on vacation, traveling or to keep the kids from playing!

Easy two wire installation and the two buttons glow red in the dark. Just need a regular screwdriver.

Just got this in the mail after a long wait. It is the remote and nothing else. No screws to mount the unit to the wall, no instructions, no package. What you see in the picture is exactly what you get and nothing more. Probably not a big deal if you are replacing one already on the wall - but we just bought a house and all I have is a hole and two wires.

This does NOT work with non-intellecode openers, you have been warned. The ad said works with intellecode and non-intellecode in one place and intellecode only in another place. The owners manual lists this model as the correct one. I called Genie and they said they do not support non-intellecode models anymore. I thought I would take a chance, since I have not found this item in a store.

I guess I am out $16 since shipping and restocking fees are more than I paid.

Arrived quickly, installed easily, works perfectly. I have an Overhead Door Company opener so I checked first to make sure that this would work and it does!

The console that was originally installed in our house imploded one day. So, I ordered this one. It showed up two days later, and I hooked it up to our Genie Intellitouch garage door system in about 10 minutes. PRESTO! We have our garage door back!! The buttons are backlit when it is dark making it easy to find the console at night when the opener's light times out ... a nice feature. Highly recommend this unit.
