This is an awesome DVD for kids of all ages (and I mean adults too!) it is a wonderful way of appreciating animals and classical music together. There are no spoken words, only classical music and beautiful images and clips of animals and children interacting. My kids love it. I also got it as a birthday gift for a friend, and they are thrilled with it too. I know I will be sharing it with many as a gift. It is well edited and very attractive. The bonus music CD is a great addtion. We often listen to it and talk about the animals in the DVD.
I totally recommend it! we will be adding more to our collection. This is a great healthy, safe and fun way to entertain your children .. my 3 year old, 1 year old and 8 year old love it! :)

This video is the reason why my 5 month old allows me to take a shower in the morning! She loves it! Thank you !

My child is 7 months old and he loved all the animals. I was worried he was too young for it, but after writing an email to the company and them sending one back telling me it was for his age and up did I want to buy it. I am very happy with this DVD.

My daughter received this DVD as a Christmas gift and I was afraid that the format might not hold her then seven month old attention... but I was wrong. She loved it! In fact, I'm planning to get more of the Baby Genius DVD's.

I dont think my 20 month old son liked this one too much. I thought it would have more sound and not be a silent film. He loves animals that is why i got it but i thought it would be more of singing songs also like favorit nursery ryhmes. When i was watching it with him I thought i was going to fall asleep.

Great DVD with great music. But I cannot find any list of composers from the DVD. Went to the Baby Genius websit and it did'nt have any composers listed. The songs on the DVD are just single movements. If the DVD listed the composers people would be able to explore more of the songs.

I am pretty disappointed with this DVD. I thought my daughter would enjoy watching it because she loves animals. I think that there was not a lot of consideration in picking the music that went with the different animal groups. The frames/views change very quickly throughout the whole video. Also, there was no reason to add in the baby genius cartoon characters into the animal scenes - it adds nothing to the viewing experience, is distracting, and feels like blatant marketing. Particularily, when the animal viewing is over, a "music video" with the baby genius characters plays which does not fit at all with the rest of the video and gives the very clear impression of brainwashing and product placement. No thank you baby genius. I'd rather have bought a national geographic film.

My kids enjoy these videos just as much as the much more expensive baby einstien videos. Great music and interesting things to see. Plus it was filmed in San Diego animal adventure park. We lived near it before our kids were born, and is neat to be able to share it with them in an educational way.

Bought this for our great grandson who is 6 weeks old. I didn't think that he would even pay attention to it but he does. It said it was for 0-36 month old children, which seemed far fetched. I think the music will be his favorite until he is able to react to the DVD.

I have several other Baby Genius DVDs and that is the reason for this purchase. My grandchildren ages 6mo. and 12mo. like them very much. I find the animated characters to be distracting from the real-life footage, but maybe that doesn't bother children. They make for a great quiet-down time and lead into for nap-time.
