According to Amazon, there are more than 3 million books ahead of this one on anyone's favorites list. And yet, I think it is among the five best books ever written. It is known as the Book that Saved the Soul of France, after the French Revolution, comparable to Edmund Burke's more famous Reflections. It is a wonderful explanation of Christianity, in the genre of the Romantic era.
