I had ordered this digital frame as a gift for a family member thinking that it would be cool to show multiple photos on one screen, something I haven't seen before. I presented the frame only to find out from the recipient that the product once turned on, only flashed a quick start screen and then didn't respond to any form of input/memory (SD disk, USB cable) or to the remote. Both the power indicator light and input indicator light glowed as intended, but no further functions would work or pictures displayed. I myself then tried it to be certain before returning it to Amazon for a replacement only to find the same results.

So I ordered a replacement, which was quickly sent and received (good job Amazon) only to find out that this new replacement product wouldn't even show the start up screen once plugged in. Power indicator light aglow as before, but this time the input indicator light never glowed even as multiple SD disks were tried and USB cable connected. So not only was this one still defective, it didn't even perform as well as the first time.

I knew when I saw a brand name that I had never heard of, it might be a risk, but I would at least expect the product to function as intended. Seems like the genius behind this "Genius" brand frame still has some work to do. This was a big disappointment to me and intended recipient. Don't waste your time with this one.

Genius DPF-A02 Crystal 10.4-Inch 4:3 Digital Photo Frame I was very disappointed when I turned this nice looking frame and it didn't work. The green light indicated power was on and that's it, nothing else was doing this frame. I contacted Amazon regarding this problem they were willing to replace this item, but I was far from us and to ship this item back might cost more then item itself. I took this frame to local master to repair it, as they told me this was factory defect and the main processor wasn't working, so I couldn't repair it. This is shame for genius, I am very disappointed.
