This is video taken of setting up the tent (literally sets up in about 1 second, probably less) and then folding it back up and into the circular carrying case. Instructions aren't necessary to set the tent up, but it is necessary to read instructions to fold it back up. Once you figure it out, it's a breeze. You can fit 2 adults + 2 kids in the actual tent itself, no problem. I was looking at another option but went with this tent, not only for ease of use, but because you can roll up the sides and back for ventilation which is key when there is stagnant air flow.

I grew up with this type of "pop-up" tent and now that I have my own family I realized that I needed another one. This tent design has been around for 14 years now. In that time period I haven't found a more simple, easy to use, or more portable tent for lounging away from the sun between beach activities. I like being able to just throw the thing into the air, watch it expand mid-flight, and then have a setup tent in front of me (hopefully in the future everything we need will be built this way!). Fold down is very easy once you see/do it once and when folded you get a very compact circle that can fit pretty flat on the floor of a car trunk (or on top of all your stuff in that car trunk). Makes trips to the beach a lot more fun + no hassle to take it = great buy.

I personally find this tent WONDERFUL and totally easy to use. A cinch to set up. Yes putting it away is confusing at first but you get the hang of it if you follow the instructions closely (they are not hard, it's just you have to wrap your head around the way the bars should fold into each other). It is ridiculously compact too, and can sling over your shoulder even when you are already carrying a massive beach bag (I have 2 kids now, trust me) of toys and gear. On that note what I love best is this one tent replaces me having to haul a mat, and an unweildy umbrella that will half the time blow over in the wind. It's totally big enough for two kids to sleep in, or two kids plus two adults to have lunch in (taking a break from the sun).

Loved this tent. Took it to the beach for a week, used it every day. It's a breeze to set up and after some practice, a breeze to take down. I recommend taking some plastic grocery bags with you to put sand in to put in the corner pockets. Makes clean up a lot easier that way.

I really enjoy this beach tent and have taken it to the beach several times. It goes up easily (pop) and is also easy to fold down and stow as long as you practice it a couple of times at home. I watched a few videos off of u-tube that were very helpful. Another aspect I like about this tent is that the back can either be zipped closed or comepletely open for a nice cross breeze. Also, the outside pockets can be filled with sand to hold the cabana down in breezy weather. The one drawback to the cabana is that it is open on the front side so it cannot be closed for complete privacy. That is the one thing I would change about this cabana. Otherwise, I've really enjoyed using it.

I bought this tent for my daughters 1st b-day. Whit two babies to take care of I needed something practical and easy to set up. The shipping and handling got price up considerable high. On the beach it popped up really nice and its super easy to fold it down but the sand anchors are made in a cheap fabric so when the wind blows it rolls out. They got broken only with the wind force. Its super difficult to keep it n place if it happens and its shape changes because of it. I guess it could be nice if you replace them with a better material and if your beach day have no wind at all. I didnt return it because it was more expensive.

We primarily use the tent on the beach and we absolutely love it. I would recommend you practice folding it a few time at home before taking it out. Folding it is a bit tricky, but once you know how, it only take about 2 minutes to pack. The carrying case makes it easy to transport and it pops up within about 20 seconds. There are tent stakes provided, so we never have to worry about it blowing away on the beach.

I love going to the beach, and this tent makes going so much easier. It's lightweight and compact. I just toss it in my trunk, grab a couple of snacks and sunscreen and go. The set-up is easy. (The last thing I want to do is spend my time trying to balance an umbrella in the sand.) The tent easily fits me, some friends or family, and snacks. Putting the tent away is pretty easy as well.

I bought this tent last year and recommend it to everyone I know. I know there are a few people who have a hard time closing this tent, but don't be one of those people! Those people are missing out. Buy the tent and then do a search on you tube for closing pup up tents. There are many to look at. The best one I saw was an old Asian lady closing it in her bare feet.
We are going to the beach again this weekend for a week and can't wait until my husband tells me again what a great purchase I made! Wish he would say that when I order shoes and purses...

This tent does everything it promises - keeps you protected in bright sun, holds MANY people (we had 3 adults and two kids in it, plus cooler and swim bags, and we were all in the shade and sheltered from blowing sand) and pops up wonderfully. Now just try getting the silly thing folded back into the pouch again! We left the instructions at home by mistake, and I was ready to offer it for free to anyone at the beach after 20 minutes of trying to get it back into the neat and tidy folded carrier. Once you get it, try REALLY hard to remember the trick to save yourself endless frustration. Otherwise, it's great...but I will NEVER volunteer to pack it up again! ha ha!
